Madison & Hunter have the sweetest love story. They met in kindergarten (cue the tears), were best friends, and started dating in high school. SO sweet. I was so excited when they booked me as their Maui honeymoon photographer!
When I asked what they were looking for in their session, Madison said immediately”Adventure!”. I knew we were a good fit 🙂 We totally nailed it with the private waterfall, a rolling hills cliffside, and a beach location!
Oh how I love Adventure Sessions. There’s nothing like getting to explore a bunch of different locations for your session. We started the session by taking a very slippery hike to a waterfall! I have no idea how Madison was able to hike out to the waterfall without getting her dress dirty. Talk about impressive! I barely own anything white because I will always stain it! We had the place entirely to ourselves! Maui is (obviously) a popular place to visit, so I always recommend locations that are more private. It might require a longer drive and a little extra hiking, but I promise it’s worth it!
After the waterfall, we drove to a field with rolling hills to get a few portraits. My favorite locations are the ones where you pull over the car at a random spot on the side of the road. That’s how this location was!
Lastly, we made our way to the beach! I always always recommend getting in the water!! One of my favorite things to do with my husband is to go swimming. I have no idea why, but it’s just so fun and peaceful. Madison & Hunter are such an easy-going couple and were up for anything! They (safely) jumped through waves and had a ton of fun laughing and running around together. I love my couples so dang much 🙂
