Marcia & Jerome’s wedding was SO much fun! I don’t think I’ve photographed a wedding where every single person could tear it up on the dance floor.

The two love Hawaii, so a destination wedding just made sense. Destination weddings are the best. Having all of your favorite people on vacation together is so special. It’s not easy to get everyone together, so might as well make it happen at a beautiful destination like Maui!
Marcia & Jerome had their ceremony at Maria Lanakila in Lahaina, Maui. It’s a beautiful Catholic Church with a ton of natural light which makes is amazing for photos! They really wanted to have portraits on the beach, so we were able to work it into the timeline for us to drive to Kapalua Ironwoods for bridal party portraits and bride and groom portraits. Normally, this would be tricky to make work (since it added an hour of driving time), but the wedding was earlier in the day, so we had plenty of time to spare! This also meant that Marcia & Jerome got to enjoy almost all of their cocktail hour. Win-win!
After the beach portraits, we headed to the reception at the Hyatt in Ka’anapali! Every single guest at this wedding was SO full of love, hilarious, and amazing at dancing. I was just laughing to myself the entire time I was shooting. I have the best job in the world!!
